VALVE HEATING
Batch processing of viscous products, where lines are idle for long periods, the valve can cause a blocking point and seize from opening. Normal heating methods would be hot water or trace heating. Eradicating hot water from your process is a must (see here for more). Switching to trace heating is unlikely where larger masses of metal require heat.
ZECK's Limpet range of bolt-on self-control microprocessor heaters hit that performance deficit in several ways.
A product for any valve

For fixed pre-set temperature control up to 250°C the BetaLimpet, MicroLimpet, OmegaLimpet or DeltaLimpet can be used. ZECK will recommend the appropriate device for the valve you need to heat.

For variable, accurate temperature control (using a temperature dial), the MaxiLimpet can also be used.

Adapter Block

Depending upon the valve style, different adapter blocks can be fitted.
For most valves, the Omega shaped system works very well, but we can adapt as necessary to valve shapes.
Distributed Field Control

All of our products can be fitted without the need for a control panel as the control is built into each device. If you need a variable setpoint from a central operator station, our Alpha range can accommodate it.

Longevity

ZECK uses high performance solid state heating devices and the microprocessors used are from the vehicle industry, robust in harsh conditions. This gives long-life and optimal performance.

PINCH VALVES
Pinch-Valves
Pinch Valves are the ideal solution for isolating and regulating abrasive, corrosive and fibrous products. The Pinch Valve is being used more and more as an isolating valve or regulating valve for emulsions, sludges, dusts, gaseous materials, compressed air, powder, granulates, pellets etc.
See AKO's extensive range of pinch valves here
AKO VF Air-operated Pinch Valve with rubber liner
When used in temperatures below -10°C, the flexible rubber liner is prone to cracking.
ZECK offer a novel and effective solution to protect these valves down to -40°C ambients.
