Portable cold store specialist Blue Cube PCS have chosen ZECK technology for its latest range of portable cold stores and blast freezers.
Portable cold store specialist Blue Cube PCS have chosen ZECK technology for its latest range of portable cold stores and blast freezers.
Historically, Blue Cube used electric trace heating in the door frames to prevent the door seals freezing. This proved to be a very unreliable solution with frequent failures of the trace heating. This led to doors freezing, preventing customer access.
ZECK designed a bespoke heating system utilising its cascade control heating technology.
Blue Cube General Manager, Will Barber, commented:
“The ZECK system is proving extremely reliable with a high level of thermal control and we will continue to roll out this technology through our large fleet”.
