Oliver Coppard recognises that innovation and local British Engineering is one of the key ways to help regenerate South Yorkshire. He is a keen advocate of Net-Zero Carbon and visited NCEFE in Sheffield to see some of the leading food engineering developments, including local company ZECK Ltd.

ZECK has spent many years developing its zero carbon process pipe heating technology, called CATTS, which increases food safety in manufacturing and saves 90% energy compared to traditional hot water methods.

ZECK partnered with German company ESYSE to help develop its technology, assisted with Siemens control equipment.
